C-Arbon Solutions

1. Energy Efficient Cooling and Heating Systems

Arbon designs and builds energy-efficient cooling and heating systems for industrial facilities from careful planning to integration of various technologies and strategies to optimize energy performance while meeting the specific needs of industrial processes. Planning and integrating various technologies and strategies is essential for designing energy-efficient cooling and heating systems for industrial facilities. Key considerations include integrating systems with industrial processes to utilize waste heat, implementing heat recovery technologies, selecting tailored HVAC and Refrigeration systems, dividing facilities into zones with independent temperature control, insulating buildings and equipment, and optimizing ventilation systems for indoor air quality and energy consumption. Use occupancy sensors and CO2 sensors in DCV systems to adjust ventilation rates based on occupancy levels and air quality needs. Utilize energy-efficient cooling and heating systems for industrial processes, such as evaporative cooling or heat pumps. Deploy EMS for monitoring and optimizing energy use in industrial facilities. Upgrade building envelopes with energy-efficient materials to improve thermal performance.

2. Adiabatic and Evaporative Cooling and Condensation Systems

Arbon collaborated with Cofinair group to provide customer custom build Adiabatic and Evaporative Cooling and Condensation Systems.  Cofinair group has an international recognized expertise in evaporative cooling since 1985. Cofinair comprises of three companies focusing three different markets.  JACIR, France manufactures open and closed loop cooling towers and Adiabatic cooling towers and condensers.  DECSA, Italy manufactures open and closed type evaporative cooling towers and condensers. GOHL-KTK, Germany manufactures open and closed type evaporative cooling towers.

3. Pumping and Compression Systems

1. Pumping Solutions

Arbon collaborated with pump manufactures of diverse specialties for the supply of pumps of various types viz. Centrifugal pump, Screw pumps, Air Operated and Electric Operated Diaphragm Pumps and Gear Pumps. Arbon as a designer and manufacturer of pumping systems, cares about energy-efficient design and operation strategy for optimizing the performance of your products and minimizing energy consumption.

Arbon’s strategy includes efficient pump selection, choosing pumps with high-efficiency motors and hydraulic designs that align with specific flow and head requirements. Opting pumps with ideal operating points to reduce energy waste and ensure reliable performance. Choosing Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) when it’s necessary to adjust pump speed and flow rate according to demand, saving energy and prolonging equipment life.

Optimizing pumping configurations by properly sizing pumps, arranging them in parallel or series, and implementing efficient piping layouts. Monitors pump efficiency continuously with Arbon monitoring and control systems, using sensors and algorithms to identify deviations from optimal operating conditions and make necessary adjustments for efficiency maintenance.

2. Compression Solutions

Arbon collaborated with compressor manufactures for diverse applications from air compression to gas compression. Arbon’s designs and builds energy-efficient compression systems for various industrial applications, including refrigeration, air conditioning, pneumatic tools, and gas compression. Arbon always chose optimum compression ratio and flow rate to provide maximum efficiency for compression systems.
Arbon strategy includes utilizing variable speed compressors for adjusting motor speed to match varying demand, resulting in energy savings compared to fixed-speed compressors, implementing advanced control systems to optimize compressor operation based on load requirements and system conditions, choose high-efficiency compression technologies such as rotary screw or centrifugal compressors, installing heat recovery systems to reuse waste heat for heating purposes.

We design compressed air piping systems with minimal pressure losses to maximize energy efficiency. Arbon’s in build leak detection system helps identifies and repair leaks in compressed air systems to avoid energy waste and increased costs.
Arbon’s compression system optimizer tracks compressor performance and energy consumption with monitoring feature to optimize operation, schedule regular maintenance, optimize performance and to improve energy efficiency.

4. Specialty Lubrication Solutions

Lubricants play a crucial role in the energy efficiency and performance of machinery and equipment in various industrial applications. Lubricants improve machinery efficiency by reducing friction, minimizing wear, managing temperature levels, and preventing overheating. Proper lubrication of seals and gaskets preserves system efficiency and reduces energy waste. High-quality hydraulic fluids enhance pump efficiency, while clean lubricants lower the risk of wear and mechanical losses from particle contamination, ultimately enhancing energy efficiency and equipment reliability.

Advancements in lubricant formulations, such as synthetic lubricants, high-performance additives, and specialized base oils, offer opportunities to improve energy efficiency further. These advanced lubricants provide enhanced lubrication properties, extended service intervals, and superior performance under extreme operating conditions, contributing to overall energy savings and equipment reliability.

Arbon collaborated with CPTec group to provide customers a tailored lubricating solution depending on their system need from choosing right lubricants, adding required additives, to completely developing new lubricant. CPTec , Estonia based solution provider, is specialty lubricant manufacturer for screw and reciprocating gas compressors, axial and centrifugal compressors, gas piston engines, gas turbines.

5. Energy Efficient Food Processing Systems

The food industry sector is the fifth largest energy consumer in the manufacturing industry. It is estimated that processing and packaging retail food products require between 13-27 kWh per kg of energy. The food processing industry requires energy for heating, cooling, refrigeration, drying, and packaging. The total energy demand for food processing is three times greater than energy used on the farm. Packaging also contains energy, especially with the use of plastics and aluminum.

Energy consumption in food processing is substantial, and optimizing energy use is essential for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and minimizing environmental impact. Tremendous potential savings lie all along the Food Processing Chain. Arbon collaborated with different manufacturers to offer a tailored food processing solution for customers, integrating the processing equipment, packaging equipment, refrigeration system, and utility systems, completely accompanied by energy reducing techniques such as recovery and reuse of hot and cold streams, heat recovery from compressors and to pre-heat water for boilers.
